Description
Toupret Interior Powder Filler ideal for repairs, gaps and cracks on new or renovated substrates, offers a one coat fill which can be filled to any depth with no need to spot prime. Easy to sand and will not flash, grin, shrink or slump it is ideal for painted or unpainted surfaces.
Toupret Interior Powder Filler can be applied to either new or renovated substrates, unpainted or painted, including:
– Gypsum plaster, plasterboards/drywall lining.
– Old painted surfaces, cement, concrete, cellular concrete, breeze blocks, bricks, stone.
Interior Filler can be overcoated with any type of filler, paint or wall coating.
Physical and Technical Features
- Made of gyspsum plaster, selected quarry materials and cellulosic binder.
- Mixing rate: add 500ml water per 1kg powder (50%).
- Application thickness: no depth limit.
- Capacity: 1kg fills 1.1L when mixed.
- Working time: 30 to 40 minutes.
- Setting time: second coat as soon as the filler is hard and dry to the touch.
- Overcoating: can be painted in 12 to 24 hours average time (after complete drying).
- The times mentioned are indicative and depend on the substrate, coat thickness, and the ambient conditions.
- Do not apply under a temperature below 8°C and above 35°C nor under a hygrometry rate over 70%.
- Colour: White.
- Substrates to be prepared as per the current trade practices.
- Substrates must be hard, cohesive, clean, sound and dry.
Use and Storage Conditions
- Application tools: filling knife, trowel or blade.
- Tool cleaning: after use, product residue can be rubbed off tools when dry (water cleaning is not necessary).
- Preservation: manufacturer guaranteed for 12 months from purchase when used as intended, kept in its original sealed packaging and stored away from humidity.
Health and Safety
- It is recommended to wear gloves and glasses while applying Toupret Interior Powder Filler.
- Always wear a dust mask when sanding.
- Dispose of unused product and packaging responsibly at your local waste collection centre.
