Nour Syn-Pro brushes are made with a blend of polyester filaments and feature a medium-firm flex. These brushes are designed to excel in high production painting as they have a high paint capacity, limiting the need for constant re-loading. They also provide great control and stability when painting.
Nour Yukon brushes are made with a blended white bristle and feature a medium flex. Yukon brushes are designed to be used with oil-based paints. These brushes provide a smooth, no streak finish and the bristles allow for excellent levelling and coverage of oil-based paints.
Nour Smooth Finish 3 Brush Pack contains 1 x 1″ Wall Brush, 1 x 2″ Wall Brush and a 1.5″ x Angled Sash Brush. The popular smooth finish trade synthetic paint brushes are excellent for the application of all paint in particular water borne coatings. The high quality ergonomically designed wooden handle holds a riveted stainless steel ferrule with 100% polyester SRT filaments that have been dyed, flagged, tipped and sanded to provide the best possible finish.
A Brief History of Nour
Since the very beginning of Nour in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, they have been creating exceptional paint applicators. Mac Fleifel, a 2nd generation paint brush maker, opened his painting tools manufacturing business in 1978. The first premises were on Colby Drive in Waterloo, where Nour’s headquarters remain today.
Nour’s reputation as a manufacturer of quality paint applicators grew throughout Canada, which prompted the construction of a distribution facility in Coquitlam, British Columbia. This western expansion in 1981 transformed Nour into a nationwide supplier of paint applicators and greatly improved overall service to our customers in British Columbia, Alberta, and the Yukon. By 1983, Nour were manufacturing paint rollers in Waterloo, Canada. To this day, Nour wind their paint rollers by hand to ensure the utmost quality for roller covers.
The New Millennium
Growing international demand has reshaped Nour into a multinational Canadian business. To accommodate a strong growth in international sales, Nour opened distribution facilities in Lebanon and England in 1989. In 2000, Nour further solidified its multinational operations by inaugurating its first manufacturing facility in Egypt. By 2003, Nour had developed strong strategic partnerships in retail and distribution in the Australian, British, American and New Zealand market.
Nour introduced Brilliant Finish as an entry-level professional paint brush in 2006. The aim was to create a high performing tool at an affordable price in 2006. Brilliant Finish immediately found success amongst professional painters and DIYers becoming the number one best-selling paint brush line in all of Canada. Nour also began rolling out a new line of floor coating application tools in 2014.
By 2017, Nour had joined all the main buying groups for the paint channel in Canada and United States. This enables Nour to continuously expand their customer base and enhance relationships with existing customers.
