RockTop Multi Surface Clearcoat. Smith & Rodger’s Rock Top is an extra tough clearcoat that seals, protects and enhances most surfaces. RockTop has been expertly formulated for even the most high traffic areas in the home. Clearcoat is water-based so won’t yellow, and dries clear.
Uses
Smith & Rodger RockTop Multi Surface Clearcoat has been expertly formulated for use on a multitude of surfaces. RockTop is a tough durable coating suitable for use on interior wooden floors, doors, kitchen worktops and furniture. It seals a wide range of surfaces, such as painted walls (including bathroom walls), vinyl floors, brick, stone, wallpaper, tile and cork.
Application
Ensure room conditions are warm, dry and well ventilated. For best results, apply when air temperature is over 13°and relative humidity is less than 65%. Shake or stir before applying by brush or roller. Apply 3 coats, or more if high traffic is expected. Allow the previous coat to dry thoroughly, for at least 3 hours before applying the next coat. A light sand between coats will improve appearance. Keep container closed and store upright when not in use. If applying to floors, avoid heavy use for 72 hours after the final coat and do not place rugs on floors until fully cured.
Drying Time
Touch Dry in 30 minutes. Recoat after 2 hours. Full cure in 7 days
Coverage
10 Sq. m. per Litre. Approximately 25 square metres per 2.5L can. Note that coverage will vary between surfaces, as bare wood is more absorbent than previously coated wood.
Clean Up
- Clean brushes and equipment with water.
- Wash any splashes to skin or fabric immediately.
- Disposal: refer to local authorities advice on disposal. Do not empty into drains or waterways.
