Description
Bartoline TX10 Paint and Varnish Stripper is a highly effective non-Methylene Chloride stripper ideal for use by inexperienced DIYers as well as professional users. The non-caustic formulation is quick and easy to use, both indoors and out, and can remove multiple layers at a time.
Application
- Removal of old paint and varnishes, including polyurethane.
- Suitable for use on wood, metal, glass, plaster and concrete.
- May not be used on plastics.
- Also suitable for removing old hardened paint from paint brushes, rollers and tools.
Coverage
1 Litre is sufficient to strip a surface area of approximately 1 square metre.
Preparation
Read label fully before use. Wear protective gloves. Protect floor coverings, textiles and vinyl materials. Shake container well before use.
Application
Pour a quantity of Bartoline TX10 Paint and Varnish Stripper into a suitable container. Apply a generous, thick even coat (do not brush out) at a rate of 1 litre per square metre, onto the surface to be stripped, with a suitable brush. Leave for approximately 1 hour and apply a second coat. For areas where there are less than 5 layers of paint or varnish, a second coat may not be necessary. Once the stripper has softened the paint, scrape off, leaving surface as clean as possible. Repeat process if necessary. Rub down stripped area using a scrubbing brush or stainless steel pad (DO NOT USE WIRE WOOL). Wash down stripped area with Bartoline Clean Spirit or detergent and water. Rinse with clean water and allow to dry

- P302+P352 – IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water.
- P405 – Store locked up.
- P501 – Dispose of contents and container to hazardous or special waste collection point, in accordance with local, regional, national and/or international regulation.
