Description
Bedec Aqua Advanced High Obliterating Matt emulsion paint is ideal for use on interior walls and ceilings. It is designed to help save potential costs on rendering and plastering by helping to infill block and brickwork, producing a smoother surface.

Preparation
Ensure the surfaces to be painted are clean, dry and free from any possible contaminants such as dust and dirt. Remove any loose paint. Remove any algal, fungal or mould growths and treat with a fungicidal wash. Lightly abrade any smooth glossy surfaces to provide a key.
On unpainted cement, render, plaster, brick work or any porous substrate, thin the first coat with 20-30% clean water. Allow new plaster and cement to dry thoroughly before application.
Where there is a risk of staining (Extractive discolouration), the manufacturer recommends treatment with BEDEC Stain block. It is always advisable to test for staining by applying High Obliterating Vinyl Matt to a small area first.
Application
Apply by brush, roller, conventional H.V.L.P or airless spray. Make sure to stir well and always check colour before use. We recommend using a test area first whenever possible. Do not apply at air or surface temperatures below 8°C. On sealed surfaces apply two to three coats, allowing each coat to dry thoroughly. Do not over spread.
Coverage
The manufacturer estimates the coverage rate, when applied by a brush or roller, to be approximately 10-12 square metres per litre per coat. The coverage will depend upon the texture and porosity of the substrate. Spraying this product can considerably reduce the coverage rate depending on the type of spray equipment used. Safety Information
• Contains 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one. May produce an allergic reaction.
• If you require medical advice, have the tin and/or label at hand.
• Ensure good ventilation during application and drying. Wear respiratory protection if spraying the product.
• Do not get in eyes, on skin or on clothing.
• IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and
easy to do, and then continue rinsing.
• IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of water. Do not use solvent or thinners or white spirit.
• IF SWALLOWED: Call a POISON CENTRE or doctor if you feel unwell at all.
