Description
Blackfriar Professional Line Marking Paint is a quick drying, long-lasting marking paint for bare concrete, asphalt and painted floors. Ideal for factories, schools, car parks and public areas.
Performance characteristics
- 30 minute drying time (in good conditions)
- Solvent-based with excellent resistance to abrasion and cleaning products.
- Ideal for domestic, commercial and industrial traffic areas
- Indoor and outdoor use
- Brush or roller application.
- Coverage Rate: approximately 6 square metres per litre per coat depending on the porosity of the surface.
Preparation
First ensure the surface to be painted is clean, thoroughly dry, and free from powdery deposits. If you are marking new concrete, make sure its has had at least 6 months to dry out before coating.
Application
- Before use, stir the paint well with a broad stirrer.
- Apply by brush, roller or line marking machine.
- If applying by brush, apply a generous, even coat with the minimum of brushing.
- For best results, apply 2 coats.
- Do not apply this paint in damp, wet, or excessively hot conditions.
- If necessary, this paint may be thinned with up to 10% Blackfriar Professional Degreaser / Cleaner – it must not be thinned with white spirit.
- Please note that Blackfriar Professional Line Marking Paint is not suitable for use as a floor paint, only for marking lines.
Clean Up
- Remove as much product from application equipment as possible before washing with Blackfriar Professional Degreaser / Cleaner.
- Do not empty into drains or watercourses. Some local authorities have special facilities for the disposal of waste coatings.

- Harmful in contact with skin. Causes skin irritation.
- Harmful if inhaled.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Keep away from heat/sparks/open flame/hot surfaces. – No smoking.
- Use only outdoors or in a well ventilated area.
- Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection.
- IF ON SKIN: Gently wash with plenty of soap and water.
- Dispose of contents/container in recognised waste collection point.
