.. ATeknos Siloksan Gel is a water-borne additive for Siloksan Façade (white or colours) which contains polysiloxane. When added to the Siloksan masonry paint it prevents the need for specialist primer coats, meaning there is no need for other coatings or primer coats thus saving time and application costs. Teknos Siloksan Gel will improve the water repellent qualities of the substrate by preventing rain from penetrating in to the structure, it will combat the seepage of salts and allow moisture to evaporate.
Teknos Siloksan Façade Masonry Paint is a water borne masonry paint, a fully permeable matt finish for use externally or internally on to previously painted render, concrete, plaster, lime render, brickwork or mineral boards. Easy application with brush, roller or spray leaving a flat matt finish that will offer many years of service.
Application
- The Mixing ratio is 9 litres of paint to 1 litres of Gel.
- Stir, by drilling machine or other such means, for a recommended minimum 5 mins.
- During the application and drying period the temperature of the ambient air, the surface and the paint shall be above +5 °C and the relative air humidity below 80 %.
PLEASE NOTE:
- The mixed paint must be used in the same day, specifically in under 18 hours. The paint may still be used after this time but the water-repellent properties of both this coat and the subsequent topcoat will be weakened. - Apply according to instructions given for SILOKSAN FACADE Silicone.
- Mixed paints are Non Returnable and Non Refundable. They are made to order, all colours are made using approved manufacturers materials and equipment.
- Due to varying screen resolutions, colour swatches shades can vary when mixed in to paint. We would recommend the purchase of a Tester Pot if you are unsure, this would give a more accurate reference of the colour. Also looking at the shade in the home environment would give additional assurance as colours are influenced by there surroundings ( Metamarism ).
