Great to see our good friend and Teknos sales manager Peter Sotherton, he made the long journey north to visit us. Bless him he battled the cold and fog to make the visit this far north, we offered Peter as we do for all our visitors a warm North East welcome and some strong builders tea, this was a bit strong for southern tastes but with a little more milk and the heating turned up we made him feel right at home…
It was great to catch up on the industry gossip and all things new in Teknos, as with a visit from any manufacturer there are always new things to discover and Peter spoke to us about Teknos Ferrex Aqua Combi a product that has passed us by a bit. As a business we are wanting to supply coatings and abrsives to a new market for us .. Metal fabrication. Peter went through the benefits and intrinsics of the Teknos Ferrex Aqua Combi, a single pack waterbourne product that can be applied to prepared various metal surfaces, such as iron, steel, zinc-coated steel, galvanized sheet steel (roof and facade sheets), aluminium and copper.
Teknos Ferrex Combi is a Water-borne tintable anticorrosive paint for priming, top coating and one layer painting for nearly all unpainted and previously painted metal surfaces indoors and outdoors. Excellent adhesion to metal and painted surfaces, as well as good weather and wear resistance. Corrosivity categories C4 and C5. Finish: semi-matt.

Also in indoor spaces, where there is almost permanent condensation, FERREX COMBI gives excellent corrosion protection to metal surfaces. As a waterborne, anticorrosive paint, with low VOC emissions, FERREX COMBI is safe to use also indoors.
