Description
Anker Stuy Ankocryl Interior Clear Lacquer is a high quality waterborne clear lacquer finish for interior joinery such as kitchens, furniture, doors, panelling. Single pack product suitable for coat on coat process this product is fast drying with a great flow and offers a high scratch and abrasion resistance that will not yellow.

Substrate and Preparation
- Anker Stuy Ankocryl Interior Clear Lacquer is suitable for most commonly used timber species.
- On certain dark species such as Walnut the lacquer can only be used as a finish over a suitable primer layer.
- Make sure the substrate is clean, dry and free from dust, dirt, grease, silicone and wax.
Application Conditions
- Ideal ambient temperature is above 18 degrees C.
- Do not apply at a relative humidity above 85%.
Spray Equipment Settings – Conventional equipment such as a cup gun
- Nozzle size: 1.6-2.0mm
- Pressure: 2.5-3.0 Bar
Spray Equipment Settings – Air assisted airless spray
- Fluid pressure: 60-80 Bar
- Nozzle size: 7-9 thou (0.018-0.023mm)
- Air assistance: As required but not greater than 2 Bar.
This product can also be applied by brush or roller.
- Always apply with good quality nylon bristle brush designed for use with water-borne coatings. Do not use a traditional pigs hair bristle brush.
- A microfibre roller may also be used.
Special Information
- This product is particularly suitable for force drying with high temperature and low humidity.
- A full three coat system can be applied very easily in one working day.
- Chemical resistance can be improved by using our HD Aqua Hardener at a ratio of one part hardener to 10 parts lacquer.
